The University of Southern Mississippi called today to tell me I have been re-accepted into the Master of Science-Special Education-Severe/Profound program. I will be earning a degree in Deaf/Blind- Dual Impairments.
I had been accepted last year, but turned it down because I had just finished my Master of Arts in Teaching, and I wasn't ready to write papers again... Sigh... I still don't really want to, but this degree will help me with my special education teaching. I am really excited!
They only accepted 10 for next year, because the government pays for the entire program. My tuition, books, travel expenses, and child-care expenses are all paid for. In exchange, I have to teach SPED in MS for two years, which I am already doing... :)
